HelloI replaced the cable - MagSafe 2 (the old one was cut). After that i have a problem with charging. I have to plug the cable into the socket on the computer several times until it starts working. When I do that I can disconnect and reconnect and its ok but.. when I unplug the cord from the wall socket it not working again (charger reset?) ..I have already try with 3 new cables (original) and problem is the same. When I use my old one its fine.. Do you have any ideas?

Sadly it’s time to just get a new charger. I’ve never been a fan in patching the cable together as the connector has a tiny chip inside which tells the system what the charger is. Why this is important is the voltage and needed charge rate is not the same across all of the chargers. So the cord you snagged may be for a different charger! Lacking safety features, cheap MacBook chargers create big sparks which can harm your system as well as set fire as my ex-employer found out having to fork over 4 million for one of their employee setting a hotel ablaze! So get a REAL Apple unit directly from Apple as the sellers who claim its a real unit (or state OEM) are not selling you a real Apple unit.
