‘‘‘I have a problem With my iphone! I think the microphone its broken cause nobody can hear me. I tried with another iPhone to change the dock piece connector but it didn’t work. I would like a photo of the microphone piece to have a look and see whats happening! I allready know that the microphone is in the dock conector but U dont know in which part it is. Please somebody can give some pictures of it. And any solutions? Thanks.. Greets From Isla de Margarita/Venezuela’’’
iPhone 3GS Dock Connector click on image to enlarge. does ringer and speaker work? if they don’t then may still be dock connector problem. try repositioning connector 4, hard reset/restore.
I have the same problem. I tried replacing the mic. Didnt work. I tried a hands free headset and it still doesnt work. It has to be a software problem or something other then the mic. Try a hands free headset and see if it works. If it does then it is probably your mic, if not then it is something else. Good luck.
