Chosen Solution
At present I have this configuration processor within my iMac 3.4GHz quad‑core Intel Core i5 (Turbo Boost up to 3.8GHz) so can I able to upgrade it to 4.2GHz quad-core Intel Core i7 processor? If you check apple processor upgrade configuration then it not mention anything about the base model while mentioned about upgrade for 3.5 ghz and 3.8 ghz processor. Check my attached screenshot:

@siddharth3322 This iMac is compatible with the 7th gen Kaby Lake Core i7 4.2GHz Have a look at this listing, it’s the same iMac (A1419, EMC 3070) with a Core i7 7700K 4.2GHz CPUIt’s always good to use everymac.com to look up information about Apple devices :)
