I recovered my Sonos Connect (2013) sleeping beauty from the basement (I did not try to kiss it) and wanted to set it up again from scratch, with the S1 app. I factory-reset it, rebooted it, but the app cannot find it. I tried with the app on the iPhone and iPad. Sonos support says the bluetooth must be broken, I can get a voucher for a discount on a new one. Any ideas how I(can)Fixit?
@posai If it doesn’t connect to the router using WiFi (as it did using Ethernet cable) then check if the WiFi card is seated correctly in the device, as the BT and WiFi share the same card. Here’s the ifixit Sonos Connect WIFI Card Replacement guide that may help
