What is the difference between items If 314-040-3 If 314-037-1 The 037 says Choice in the heading but the descriptions seem the same. I want to replace a cracked screen but the talk back mic only works on speaker mode n want to be sure n change that. Craig.
IF314-040-3 - This is an aftermarket quality replacement screen that includes the small parts (camera, microphone, sensors). IF314-037-1 - This is an OEM quality level replacement screen that includes the small parts (camera, microphone, sensors). Either way, iFixit stands behind their parts so if you do have issues, they will replace it. The Choice screen will have better glass, better color (better LCD) and more solid flex cables as well as being assembled with a cold press glue process which is superior to the hot glue process of the aftermarket screen.
