I replaced a broken screen and now proximity sensor works but not the front camera and earpiece. Everything worked on my broken screen. Tried with a new flex cable front camera assembly and a new ear piece and it does the same thing. Put old earpiece with new flex cable and vice-versa but nothing work. The question is why the proximity sensor works and not the camera and earpiece if they are all on the same connector?
So everything worked before the fix but afterwards, neither the replacement flex (which came with the replacement screen) nor the original flex (which you transferred) work…is that correct? In that case, I would check the condition of the connector as well as the surrounding components on the logic board. The connector may be damaged or have debris that impedes a good connection or there may be some tiny components that were accidentally pried off.
