I have PS3 fat console. Last week there was power outage for whole night. Next day when supply was resumed, there was power surge. Since than the console is dead. No response, no lights blinking, not even yellow. My brother took it to the local Sony repair center. They offered to replace it with new slim console with 50% discount. Please help me. I have already opened the console and I feel the problem is with power supply. I also noticed a sticky light yellow moisture like residue on the mother board.
