morning yesterday, i playing game on my ps3 just fine, then when i boot my ps3 at night. It says no signal on my led tv. I had switch my hdmi port, change my hdmi cable, but it kee saying no signal. I tried to enter recovery mode, i hold the power button and come first beep then 5-10 seconds come the second beeps that indicate the video reset. But after this second beeps, my ps3 shutdown and back to standby redlight again. I repeat again and it shutdown again after the second beep. Do you guys know whats wrong with my ps3? Do i have a bad component on my ps3? Thanks :) I will appreciate your answer.
Sounds like Yellow Light Of Death (YLOD) overheating issue which many PHAT (Fat) non-slim PS3’s suffer from especially the older model revisions (years). There’s no real permanent fix for this unfortunately there are some temporary fixes which hopefully last a year at best. It’s the CPU / APU / GPU whatever it’s called on the logic board that gets too hot and can be temp fixed by getting it reflowed. If it’s YLOD it should be turn on, beeps a few times switches green, yellow momentarily then red off.
Try another cable or tv. If that isn’t the problem, try a coaxial or composite cable. Still no? Sorry but it is the playstation
