Hey all, I have a PS4 that I bought back in 2014, and yesterday I started having some issues. It started to give the red light and overheating message, so I unplugged it and cleaned all the vents with air spray. Then I took the back off to do the same to the fan, power supply, etc. Now when I have it plugged in and press the power button, I get a beep with no lights. If I press it again it will beep and show a blue light for a second before cutting off again. This old Youtube video shows what it looks like https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-CRtD589… It isn’t hooked up with an HDMI to the tv, I’ve tried plugging it into a different outlet, I’ve tried using the PS3 cord which I know works fine. I used the air spray on the AC port to clear out any dust. I didn’t unplug anything when I opened the back to clean the insides, and from what I can see the Power supply is firmly back in place. Tried to gingerly use the “knee” method but I don’t wanna use much force here. It also isn’t long enough for me to boot it into safe mode. Any help would be appreciated.
Look at the 2 pins on the motherboard that go into the power supply make sure they are Update (01/24/2019) Straight. This %#*@ page won’t add things half the time
