Hey everyone, I have a PS4 which won’t start. All that happens is that the blue light turns on and continuously dims and brightens again. No white light appears, and the PS4 doesn’t respond to the controller. I’ve already tried using a different power supply, but no luck there. I’d greatly appreciate any help. Thanks in advance, Minas This is a different PS4 to the one mentioned in my other thread.

After quite some time searching I’ve come to the conclusion that it is probably a problem with the APU chip. The next step now will be to take a look at reflowing the motherboard, but I highly doubt it will work permenantly. Anyway, thanks for all the help!

there are a few things it could be the the apu chip, ram or southbridge chip. but theres no way to test which 1 it is

go on Xbox should fix the issue.

here’s a link i found that may help further diagnose it. I hope it helps. https://www.usgamer.net
