Hoping you can help! Purchased a new official Sony DS4 controller to replace what we thought was a bad one. The original one stopped pairing to the PS4, regardless of what we did. We purchased another one and it fails to pair as well. We have tried many different things, including but not limited to leaving it unplugged overnight, resetting controllers, many processes from google search and resetting back to factory settings of the console. When in safe mode, both controllers work… (scratches head) Also getting an NW-35959-1 error code regarding wifi.
Sounds like you probably have a problem with the WiFi chip on the motherboard. It’s unlikely to be an issue with the WiFi antenna (usually if it’s just the antenna then the controllers will still connect). Sometimes these chips can be fixed but sometimes they need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
Where do we get another wifi chip or motherboard?
